I wrote about some of the problems that arise when consumerism undermines the work of charities amongst the poor earlier this year (in part 1 and part 2).

I suggested that consumerism - even for a good cause - is problematic.

I got a lot of push-back as well as some folks saying, YES!

Now, Love146, an organization working with trafficked boys and girls has addressed the issue in an innovative new way. Take a look at this video for a great overview of the issues, and their response.
